Mike Brodeur is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender from Calgary, Alberta. Drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2003, he is best known for his time with the Ottawa Senators, where he made a memorable NHL debut in 2009 with a 4–1 win and followed it up with a shutout in his second game. Over his pro career, Brodeur played in the AHL, ECHL, and NHL, earning a reputation for resilience and calm under pressure. After retiring, he shifted his focus to coaching and mentoring young goalies, drawing from both his elite playing experience and personal journey through injury recovery, including overcoming concussion-related struggles. Today, he continues to inspire and develop athletes through his work with Balanc3d Goaltending, emphasizing confidence, mindset, and total athlete development.
